Abstract
Legal security of personal data is a very relevant topic. This lies in the fact that in modern society, information technology plays a significant role in the everyday and everyday life of people. Each of us systematically gives information about himself that allows us to be identified. In turn, this threatens with the emergence of risks that entail adverse consequences. Having lost control over information about themselves, people risk falling into the hands of intruders who can use our personal data for their own selfish purposes. This article discusses ways to minimize the occurrence of these risks. The article allows you to get acquainted with the recommendations on the protection of personal data, explains what responsibility is provided for non-observance of the rights of citizens to protect information containing personal data. The article discusses the main legal problems in the field of online security regulation.
