The article examines the current problem of insufficient involvement of parents in the educational process of preschool educational institutions and substantiates the need for their active participation for the harmonious development of the child. The reasons for parents' passivity are analyzed and effective strategies for transforming their role from an observer to a full-fledged partner are proposed. Special attention is paid to methods of establishing open communication, educating parents, organizing joint activities and an individual approach. It is emphasized that the active interaction of the family and preschool institutions contributes to improving the quality of the educational process, building trust and creating a unified development space.
