В статье дается характеристика аппликации как виду изобразительного творчества в дошкольном учреждении. Раскрывается специфика формирования у детей старшего дошкольного возраста выразительного образа в процессе аппликации из геометрических фигур. Обосновываются педагогические условия формирования у детей 5–6 лет выразительного образа в процессе аппликации из геометрических форм.
