The relevance of the event is determined by the need to increase the level of financial literacy of modern schoolchildren, on the one hand, as a task of the state, and on the other, as a response to social demand from students and their parents. Games are a great way to make learning important and interesting facts fun for the younger generation. They stimulate cognitive interest, help to master a foreign language better, and develop qualities such as independence and initiative. In addition, games contribute to the formation of a team spirit: students actively work together, support each other and listen attentively, and the teacher acts as a mentor. To broaden the horizons of the students and introduce them to interesting facts about the culture of English-speaking countries, I use the game according to the rules of the popular TV show "Field of Miracles". It is intended for students in grades 8-10 and is dedicated to English idioms on the topic of "Money".

The work reflects the issues of preparing and conducting lessons in a playful way. The importance of such lessons for the implementation of the technology of the system-activity approach, which contributes to the formation of a functionally literate personality, is emphasized. Examples of games that can be played both in math lessons and in extracurricular activities are given. In conclusion, the practical results of such games among schoolchildren are briefly discussed.
