«The problems of the British school in the publications of N.A. Ganz in the 1920s – early 1930s»
The monograph explores the process of presentation and analysis of the UK and the British Commonwealth of Nations school system in 1920–1930th in N.A. Hans’ pedagogical publications. Playing the role of the translator of the Western progressive pedagogical ideas, the scholar made a thorough research of the English-speaking countries school system. He thought the adaptation of this experience for Russian émigré school practice was a crucial condition for its modern development.

The article deals with the history of relations between «Sovremennyje zapiski» journal editorial board and N.A. Hans, the prominent activist of the Russian emigre social and pedagogical movement. The analyzed data give new information about the Russian emigre pedagogical journalism of 1920–30s.
