The article is devoted to the problem of children's reading, perception of the text by ear, understanding the meaning and content of the read. Frequent and regular reading, its skillful combination with various types of children's activities contributes to the child's understanding of the world around him, teaches him to feel and love the beautiful, forms the basis of moral qualities of the individual. Reading comprehension and awareness are the main indicators of reading quality. The article considers the children's magazine as an important source of knowledge, which contains literary works (classical and modern), tasks for the development of mental processes, drawings and notes of children, etc. The children's magazine has a great potential for the development of the future reader in the child.

«The semantic connection of time and space in literary text»
The article deals with the connection of time and space in literary text. It gives some definitions of the time-space concept, the chronotope; it presents different points of view of Russian linguists about the leading role of the chronotope components; it also lists the main ways of detecting the chronotope in literary work; it defines some features and characteristics of time and space in the chronotope.

The article deals with the peculiarities of time expressing and depicting in literary text. It is focused on linear, cyclic and historical timelines; it also outlines the ways how these timelines can be verbalized in literary text; it emphasizes the importance of the category of time because the temporal orientation in text determines the type of language means in work; it gives a few interpretations of plot time and highlights some possibilities and abilities of it to express dynamics and variability of the world.

«Stylization of colloquail style in the works of fiction literature of China»
The phenomenon of censorship is often associated with Chinese literature. Indeed, all works that are planned for publishing, are subjected to control. This article is devoted to the study of the extent to which censorship affects the linguistic side of the issue and, in particular, the possibility of using peculiar elements of colloquial style. Furthermore, the article also considers the events of the XX century, which became the reason for a greater extent of stylization of the mentioned functional style elements in Chinese literature.

Short stories by A. Poe which include emotive words «fear» and «terror” are analyzed. These words predominate among emotive words and are viewed as key words which allow the reader to penetrate into the idea of each story and come to the conclusion that all of them are built around the theme of fear and terror as a key concept.

«Специфика «биологического» в научной фантастике А.Р. Беляева (на материале романов «Голова профессора Доуэля» и «Человек-амфибия»)»
В статье анализируется специфика «биологического» в творчестве А.Р. Беляева, приводятся конкретные примеры использования тематики «биологических» экспериментов, которая неоднократно встречается у многих научных отечественных фантастов. Автор приходит к выводу, что подобный тематический диапазон приводит в конечном итоге к образованию «супергеройских» текстов и кинокартин, в которых в центр повествования ставится человек с физиологическими отклонениями.

Fiction is an important means for expanding the all-round development of a preschooler. It develops speech, thinking, enriches his emotions and moral qualities. Its educational, aesthetic, and cognitive significance is very important, since by enriching the idea of the surrounding reality, the child develops as a person. Children of preschool age, with the help of teachers, acquire good feelings, assessments and standards of moral behavior.
