Frequent and regular reading, its skillful combination with various types of children's activities contributes to the child's understanding of the world around him, teaches him to feel and love the beautiful, forms the basis of moral qualities of the individual. Reading comprehension and awareness are the main indicators of reading quality. The article considers the children's magazine as an important source of knowledge, which contains literary works (classical and modern), tasks for the development of mental processes, drawings and notes of children, etc. The children's magazine has a great potential for the development of the future reader in the child.

В статье анализируется специфика «биологического» в творчестве А.Р. Беляева, приводятся конкретные примеры использования тематики «биологических» экспериментов, которая неоднократно встречается у многих научных отечественных фантастов. Автор приходит к выводу, что подобный тематический диапазон приводит в конечном итоге к образованию «супергеройских» текстов и кинокартин, в которых в центр повествования ставится человек с физиологическими отклонениями.

The article represents geographic names analyses in a story of N. Nosov "Dunno on the Moon" from the point of view of their origin and meaning. In course of the work it becomes clear that toponyms (hodonyms and oikonyms) bears sense load, help the author to express the idea: obviously show life features of shorties at Moon.

Fiction is an important means for expanding the all-round development of a preschooler. It develops speech, thinking, enriches his emotions and moral qualities.
