At this article the author discusses the historiography of the Imperial Orthodox Palestinian society, founded in 1882. The article gives the general characteristic of the dissertation for the doctor’s degree of historical sciences on the subject «The Russian emigration in domestic dissertation researches of 1980–2005.» defended in 2017 in dissertation council on the basis of the Moscow state regional university: the relevance of the research topic, degree of its readiness, the purpose and task, scientific novelty, the theoretical and practical importance of work, methodology and methods of a research, the main results of a research (the provisions submitted for protection), degree of reliability and approbation of results, the summary of chapters of the thesis. It also provides recommendations and the prospects of further studying of a subject.

The article aims at studying the historiography of the Russian scholars' researches on the Oslo Accords. The key issue is about the role of these Accords in the conflict's settling. This subject includes the problem of territory, the status of Jerusalem, condition and status of the Palestinian refugees, acts of terrorism and political sphere. At the end, author deduces that there is not unified opinion about the Oslo Accords in the Russian historical science. Overall, lots of scientists consider these Accords as controversial and affectless.

In recent years in the North Caucasus there is a tendency to review the question of ethnogenesis and the past of the Ossetian people. Attempts to falsify history have always existed and the prerequisites for this were very different. Basically it is is stipulated by the current political situation, which requires the corresponding mythological support. Modern falsifiers of history unnecessarily politicize the issue of linguistic and cultural heritage of the Alans while trying to erase more than two centuries of historiography problems.
