The aim of the study is to compare the indices of mental toughness among basketball players and track and field athletes. To achieve this goal the questionnaire MTQ48 (Mental Toughness Questionnaire 48) was employed. The results showed that track and field athletes have higher scores on the "Reaction to challenge" and "Control" scales compared to basketball players.

Work acquaints with psychological technologies in sport. Formation of sports psychology, its essence, reasons of emergence and technique of work of sports psychologists with various age groups are represented. Biofeedback is a technology of diagnosing physiological processes in real time, during which the patient receives information about the state of his own physiological parameters and conducts its self-regulation in the feedback mode organized with the help of microprocessor technology. In sports cardiology, biofeedback mostly stays in demand, aimed at cardiorespiratory synchronization of heart rate variability. The aim of the study – to create an original correcting method of heart rate variability with the use of biofeedback in athletes training for endurance. The study included 61 people (men aged 20-34 years without diseases of the cardiovascular system). The main group (n = 36) was made up of athletes who predominantly train for endurance. Initially for 30 minutes after training all athletes conducted a study of heart rate variability (HRV) according to a standard procedure. Next, by the method of random numbers athletes were divided into three equal groups (12 people each). Group 1 (main) received cardiothoracic sessions. Cardiorespiratory training was conducted daily. The course consisted of 5 sessions, each of which included 8-12 samples of 120 s each. Statistical processing of the obtained data using a single-factor dispersion analysis did not reveal significant differences in the parameters of the athletes of the study groups. It was found that the total heart rate variability after cardiorespiratory training sessions increased by an average of 33.5 ms (or 69.5% of the baseline, p = 0.002). When analyzing the HRV indices in athletes after watching motivational videos and in the athletes of the comparison group, statistically significant differences were not revealed. Thus, it was the original method of biological feedback that had a significant corrective effect on the indices of heart rate variability in athletes training for endurance.

The article provides the study that was conducted among young female athletes engaged in table tennis and having a violation of posture, with an assessment of metric and strength indicators. In the experimental group in parallel training a course of corrective gymnastics was conducted. The high efficiency of a combination of regular sports training and corrective gymnastics is established with a leveling of negative influence on the posture of asymmetrical sports.

Need of use of the developed means and methods of high-speed and power training of hockey players for improvement of quality of educational and training process and competitive activity is revealed and proved.

The article presents original design and technological recreational and sports facilities for winter sports with artificial relief. Based on the examples of existing facilities the author examined quantitative and qualitative characteristics of the complexes that determined the scope and relevance of the data of natural and technical systems. The material contains photographs of objects in different periods of their life cycle in the construction and operation. The basic trends of the innovative sports building on the example of Moscow have been identified and formulated.

Coping behavior is a combination of coping strategies and coping resources, it’s like constantly changing cognitive and behavioral efforts of the individual, which help him to manage internal and external requirements. This work presents the study of parasportsmen’s coping behavior features. The authors used coping test by Lazarus in the adaptation of T.L. Krjukova, E.V. Kuftyak, M.S. Zamyshlyaeva and «Multidimensional scale of social support» («MSPSS») by D. Zimet (in the adaptation of N.A. Sirota and V.M. Yaltonskij, modification of G.S. Korytova). However some questions were added according to the conditions of the research. This work demonstrates coping-strategies, which are suitable for parasportsmen, and how these people perceive social support.
