The article deals with the fact that sperm motility is a significant predictor of male fertility potential and is directly linked to fertilization success in both natural and some forms of assisted reproduction.

Human sperm motility is of great interest to researchers and biologists studying sperm function and to medical practitioners evaluating and treating male in-fertility. Computer-assisted semen analysis (CASA) instruments are used to trace the swimming paths of sperm automatically in time-lapse microscopy image sequences connect-the-dots between video frames, enabling rapid automatic quantification of sperm motility parameters for hundreds of cells at a time. The image processing and sperm tracking capabilities of today’s CASA instruments can be enhanced However. In this paper we highlighted the limitations of (CASA) instruments and suggested ways to mitigate them from the literature. We have also our algorithm ‒ program complex to determine linear velocity in Java. With all these efforts in further improving the computational tools for CASA, much more robust and versatile systems should be available in the foreseeable future.

The article reveals the essence of transhumanism and its influence on the formation of the superhuman phenomenon. Transhumanism is assessed as the basis for the formation of the technogenic type of superhuman, as a new anthropological type, denying the existing man. There comes an era of a new confrontation in the world: Superman against man. This confrontation will lead to a new alignment in modern civilization.

As the share of development of oil fields with reserves confined to low-permeable reservoirs increases, the problem of improving the efficiency of key indicators of project implementation becomes relevant. The work considers the factors that influence the investment attractiveness of low-permeable reservoir development projects, based on the accumulated experience in the development of low-permeable layers, the directions of optimization of technical and economic solutions are noted. The effectiveness of the proposed measures is confirmed based on the investment analysis of options for developing low-permeable reservoirs of an oil field.

Summary: elements of development of critical thinking of students on examples of the solution of geological tasks of courses of a stratigraphy, the facial analysis, historical geology and paleontology are approved.

Summary: between the general stratigraphy scale of the Permian system and the general geochronologic scale of the Permian there is one-to-one correspondence (so-called "bijection" by the theory of the Cantor). Couples of such divisions are considered: System – Period, Series – Epoch, Stage – Age. For demonstration of bijections the piece of the International Chronostratigraphic Chart corresponding to the Perm system is chosen. Divisions which volume and content are proved by a biostratigraphic method treat the straton possessing property of bijection. The Permian system, its departments, tiers treat such divisions.
