Social insurance in Russia plays an important role in ensuring social protec-tion of citizens. This system involves providing citizens with material support in case of various situations, such as illness, disability, disability, loss of breadwin-ner, old age and death of the breadwinner.

The article is devoted to the issue of forming cognitive interest in younger students with intellectual disability. The issue is present not only among children with intellectual disability, but it is with them that it is most difficult to form it, since in primary school age these children still have a predominant play activity, as a result of which children with intellectual disability have distorted conception about the world around them. Intellectually disabled students tend to have a superficial acquaintance with any subject, as a result of which it is quite difficult for them to analyze and synthesize, so their perception and understanding also suffers. The correctional program presented in the article has a mission to eliminate these problems and help children in the formation of correct cognition.

In this article, the results of a study concerning the features of attitude towards nature in young school-aged children diagnosed with mild mental disability are presented. In conclusion, the authors note an insufficient development of the cognitive, emotional, and behavioral components of attitude towards nature in this category of children.

The article discusses the existing problems associated with the adaptation of first-year students with disabilities, who have profound impairments of body function (totally blind, deaf, and lesions of the musculoskeletal system) in the educational process at the university. The article describes an analysis of adolescent primary morbidity during 2005–2014, which shows an increase in morbidity rates in almost each disease entity and the dynamic of primary decreasing adolescent disability during 2014–2015.

This article defines the factors forecasting significancy, affecting development, birth and survival rate of the children with congenital heart disorder. The families with children with congenital heart disorder and without it and 105 children with congenital heart disorder are studied. The authors use such research methods as polling and complex clinical and functional examination of children with congenital heart disorder. More important factors, indicating the high risk of the baby with congenital heart disorder impregnation, baby’s formed congenital heart disorder probability, characteristics, designating the chance of live birth with congenital heart disorder are considered.
