Using the data base of RISC given statistical evaluation of the dynamics of scientometric indicators scientists of Petrozavodsk on the example of the Hirsch index.

The tracings of indexes offered by the last two Stratigraphic Codes of the Russian Federation do not create the system of indexes combining the general, regional and local stratigraphic divisions. The "short" indexes which entered practice of stratigraphy under the influence of requirements of cartography do not possess sign of unicity of indexes and specific geological section. Ways of overcoming of the available contradictions are offered.

The Stratigraphic indexes from the Stratigraphic Code of Russian Federation substantially became outdated. Instead of them the updated indexes of tiers formed by letters of Latin of the English alphabet are offered. Changes as a part of tiers in the general stratigraphic scale of the Russian Federation are considered.
