Didactic games with velcro represent a modern and efficient method for cognitive development in preschool children. Their attractiveness stems from their simple construction, bright visual appeal, and reusability. These games provide active interaction between children and materials, helping form fundamental cognitive skills while stimulating interest in learning. They assist in developing sensory perception, fine motor skills, logical thinking, analytical ability, and object classification. Furthermore, they enhance motivation towards academic activities. The use of velcro-based didactic games in pedagogy aims to harmoniously combine play and instruction, creating comfortable conditions for acquiring new knowledge and skills by preschoolers.

The article examines the technology of using various types of children's construction as a means of developing the cognitive and creative abilities of older preschool children. This research aimed to investigate how supplementary physical education influences the development of major motor skills in preschool children. There was an additional physical education session in the experimental group. Test of Gross Motor Development-2 was used in the study. A significant improvement in the indicators was found in the experimental group. In the control group, the improvement in indicators was but not statistically significant. The study was conducted in kindergarten.
