«Technology of professional Russian language teaching to foreign students»

Having acquired the basic knowledge of the Russian language in the pre-entry courses and having started the first year at the university, foreign students face certain linguistic difficulties while studying professional foreign language. First year students should master three forms of academic speech style: an oral report on the professionally-oriented topic; an oral type of the academic speech i.e. a lecture, and a written form of the academic speech – authentic textbooks reading. The developed technology of professional language training promotes the performance of foreign students; teaches to characterize and describe the objects; provide strong argumentation of their choice; allows to understand how to use the language successfully as a means of obtaining professionally valuable information.
