This article presents the results of a pilot research aimed at studying HIV infection risk self-assessment in women of childbearing age. The study involved 50 women. All ethical aspects in conducting studies involving human subjects were observed. According to the study design, a semi-structured interview was conducted with each participant. The interview was aimed at studying the socio-demographic characteristics of childbearing age women, their knowledge of HIV infection and ways of transmission, contraception use, and preventive measures. The data obtained during the study showed that the vast majority of women have the correct knowledge of HIV infection. For all women of childbearing age, it is important not to become infected with HIV. However, most women, including those who are at risk of HIV, do not use barrier contraception methods. Women of childbearing age who were at real HIV infection risk were also identified. Those women subjectively do not consider themselves at any risk.

The article is devoted to the analysis of the role and significance of the image of a person, in a form of implicit theories to form the integrity of a dialogue as a social formation, to the analysis of a dialogue as a part of the social situation that presupposes setting various objects and tasks, to the analysis of the verbal integrity of a discourse in the light of the speaker’s conception of a person, i.e. proceeding from his implicit theories of a person that emerge in his ordinary consciousness. The organization of a dialogic discourse is directly connected with implicit theories of a person, which in their turn are a complex of the speaker’s images associated with his interlocutor. The unity and diversity of communicative senses dictate the verbal choice corresponding to the conceptions and images of interlocutors. Within the limits of the common informational field «I» and «you» of interlocutors enter into irreconcilable contradictions, at the same time the two-way character of speech intercourse within the limits of language communication is another factor of the social integrity of a dialogue, the variety of communicative senses is unified by informational, social, conceptual fields. The article analyzes literary examples and extracts from pre-election debates in USA both in Russian and in English.

According to the author insincerity is an integral feature of the modern society, that is why nowadays there is a preoccupation in the study of insincerity from the point of view of linguistics. Insincerity externalizes itself in insincere discourse. The aim of the article is to analyze assertive speech acts as an expressive mean of insincere discourse in English political texts. Having analyzed the examples, the author comes to a conclusion, that assertive speech acts are the effective means of expressing an insincere discourse.

The article deals with the classification system of arts by American analytical philosopher Nelson Goodman. His concept of the dividing of the art-world into two types of art: «allographic» and «autographic» arts is strongly problematic. The author proves that an empirical distinction between the types of art does not negate the profound unity of the artistic world. In the arts, a variety of the material embodiment of artistic images, does not deny their common genetic code of the creative process.

В содержании материала освещаются проблемы изучения народного декоративно-прикладного искусства в школах Дагестана. Учитывая важность реализации обучающего и педагогического потенциала народных художественных промыслов и ремесел, их недостаточную разработанность и освещенность в процессе формировании творческих способностей школьников, автор формулирует проблему исследования: разработка оптимального содержания изучения народных художественных промыслов, научное исследование и экспериментальное обоснование форм и методов развития творческих способностей на основе опыта прошлого.

Cтатья посвящена рассмотрению вопросов художественно-эстетического воспитания, художественно-творческой деятельности учащихся на занятиях декоративно-прикладным искусством. Основные нравственно-эстетические качества личности закладываются с раннего детства. Автор считает, что занятия детей декоративно-прикладным искусством с раннего возраста способствуют реализации целей и задач эстетического воспитания и художественного образования, развитию художественно-творческой деятельности учащихся, приобщению их к различным видам народного и профессионального декоративно-прикладного искусства.
