In the modern era, issues of interaction between nature and society have become extremely complex, and one of the directions of the teacher's work is to increase the environmental literacy of students, arm them with skills in the careful use of natural resources, and form an active humane position towards nature.

The purpose of the article is to analyze the normative and legal documents of the sphere of education in the field of project activity. To date, the use of project activity technology is a prerequisite for the implementation of the federal state educational standard of general education. The article presents the requirements for the activity of a teacher on the formation of the foundations of project activity at different levels of general education.

This article identifies and characterizes the pedagogical conditions for the organization of project activities in a modern primary school. In the analysis of scientific literature the author highlights the benefits of project activities, as well as the typical mistakes of teachers in the formation of project activities.
