This paper considers the modern methodology and analyzes the methodological approaches of research sphere of additional education for children, clarified the interpretation of the pedagogical phenomenon, compared definitions given by theorists and practitioners, refined understanding of the new roles of additional education of children in modern Russian education system.

Application of a method of mathematical modeling in a school course of informatics is presented in article. It is shown that possibilities of algorithmic languages of programming and environments of programming allow to realize a method of mathematical modeling when studying informatics.

The authors stress the importance of prioritizing communication tasks and recognizing the interconnectedness of communicative competence components.

The aim of the work is to determine the effectiveness of the theatrical activity in the education of the sound culture of speech of children of senior preschool age. In the process of performing the work, the problem of education of the sound culture of speech in the process of the theatrical activity of senior preschoolers is theoretically substantiated, and the level of development of the sound culture of speech of older preschool children is revealed. The complex of measures in the theatrical activity, uncontrolled for the education of the sound culture of the speech of senior preschool children, and implemented in the educational process of the pre-school institution was developed and tested for efficiency.
