The aim of this study was to examine the features of emotional intelligence among university students of study program "Physical education and sport". To achieve this goal Schutte Self-Report Inventory was employed. The results showed that female students have a higher ability to understand emotions, and male students – to manage their emotions.

The problem of the study of emotional intelligence in the works of Russian and foreign researchers is considered in the article. Particular attention is paid to the description of the empirical part: the study of emotional intelligence among sales managers, as well as their productivity. The authors have shown that emotional intelligence affects the effectiveness of managers.

The article discusses artificial intelligence (AI) at the present stage of development, as a way of presenting and understanding AI as the mechanisms of computers. Features a large bunch of some algorithmic procedures for the solution by computer of a specific task, an example of which can serve as an attempt of modeling of biological neural networks.

The article shows, that despite intensive development of intellectual abilities of a person in this age, for younger students characterized by low level of development of social intelligence, which can lead to difficulties in communication and in understanding and predicting human behavior, the complexity of the relationship and the reduced ability of social adaptation.

Article is devoted to the analysis of a role of the computer in human life. Value of the computer in preparation of homework, in development of mental informative processes, in familiarizing of the child with researches is disclosed.
