In the article the history of the adversarial position of Russia and Great Britain in the Middle East in the context of the fate of Afghanistan is considered. The author demonstrates the aggressive nature of the British policy in the region. Thus Russia acts as the political player who tried to achieve the geopolitical purposes in Afghanistan in the legitimate way. But neither Russia nor England didn't take the interests of the country into consideration actually.

The article deals with some reviews of the Russian émigré literature, regarding peasant policy of General Petr Nikolaevich Vrangel, a Commander-in-Chief of the Russian army. The author pays much attention to the analysis of agrarian reform concept.

The article examines the points of view of the Russian émigré literature concerning the activities of an admiral A.V. Kolchak in the anti-Bolshevik movement – work for the government of a Lieutenant-General D.L. Croatia in Harbin, the performance of the duties of a Supreme Ruler and Supreme Commander-in-Chief. Miliukov, who considered the admiral's involvement in the dictator's duties as a mistake, which had great negative consequences for the White movement in the East of the country.

The transition from a unilateral to a multipolar world will require greater effort and resolution of international and inter-state matters on the basis of principles of equal security, compromises, and mutually beneficial cooperation.

The article deals with the problem of the lack of media education of citizens and the need to introduce such a course in schools and universities in the conditions of the modern information warfare, which goal is the impact on mass consciousness with a view to its submission and enslavement in certain geopolitical goals. The author rightly raises the question of the means of protection against the manipulation with consciousness to be possessed by citizens, but since the technology of manipulation of consciousness is used by all the media and politicians, the question arises: is this profitable for the government to train its own citizens to counteract the manipulation.

The author points out that in the late XIX century in a sharpening of capitalist powers struggle for influence in Korea and unstable political situation van Gojong along with the heir to the throne had taken refuge in the territory of Russian diplomatic mission in Seoul, where he managed to fulfill the state administration.
