A new technology for processing vegetative plants on large agricultural areas at night with a UAV is described. The use of an unmanned aerial vehicle as a mobile platform with a device attached to it for stimulating non-thermal intensity of vegetative plants with optical laser radiation at various stages of ontogenesis contributes to the development of plants at the initial stages of vegetation and, as a consequence, at later stages of growth, increasing their resistance to certain diseases and productivity., which allows at the stage of storage to significantly increase the safety of the crop without additional investment in the vegetable store.

The article refers to the need for periodic tests of grounding of power lines, in connection with which there is a need to develop domestic devices for conducting such tests, and a prototype of such a device has been developed

The article analyzes and summarizes the principles of architectural bionics applied to various construction and technical structures. The analysis was carried out in the course of studying the scientific literature on the topic “Bionics. Architectural structures». The purpose of this work is to study the principles of architectural bionics, to study the possibility and effectiveness of their application for solving engineering and technical problems. The main task of the work was to study the directions and principles of development of architectural bionics, to assess the effectiveness of their application for solving technical problems, to find the correspondence of biological systems to construction and technical structures and facilities, to analyze known architectural structures from the point of view of architectural bionics.

The paper presents the tension regulator of the Shuttle thread of the sewing machine, which consists of an arc-shaped plate spring, has two holes, the first for fixing the screw to the side surface of the bobbin cap and the second for the adjusting screw. In this case, the width of the plate spring along the entire length is the same. A disadvantage of the known design of the Shuttle thread tension regulator is that it is not possible to provide thread tension due to changes in the pressure force of the plate spring along its length in the areas of contact with the thread passing between the plate and the side surface.

The purpose of this paper is to determine the most important means of describing the appearance and emotional state of a woman. The novelty of the research consists in analyzing the means of creating the image from the perspective of the female perception of the world.

Graphenes in the form of flexible thin films treated with different types of plasma were investigated by Mott-Schottky analysis. The possibility of variation of electrical conductivity in graphene prepared by plasma treatment was shown. Obtained materials are promising for electric energy storage devices.

There are two different ways to transmit the AC electric power for a long distance: a compensated, the half-wave and tuned to half-wave transmissions. The compensation of the wave length is an effective way to increase the distance and the capacity of the transmission line. Through the wave length compensation it might to give to a long distance line the properties of the short line (except the active power losses). But with the distance and capacity increasing also increases a capacity of the compensation devices. Therefore, usage of the half wave and tuned to a half wave transmission lines to transmit an AC electric power for a long distances is more effective because there is no need to additional expenses to reactive power compensation by the stability conditions. The boundary length of the tuning to a half-wave is defined in article. The advisability of the tuning to a half-wave is arises when the length of the line more than 1500 km. Otherwise it recommended to tune the line to a «zero length».

The article is devoted to a brief review of modern CAD for electromagnetic modeling of microwave devices. Five major CAD systems are described in the article: FEKO, μWave Wizard, Sonnet, AWR Microwave Office, HFSS. The main methods are given for each CAD system used for simulation of microwave structures and the main advantages that distinguish its use.
