The article highlights various methods and techniques for creating frescoes. They differ, first of all, in their goals and difficulties that one has to face when performing a fresco, the unique characteristics of the painting's shape, the mental processes involved in the artist's mind during drawing, the level of mastery of drawing techniques and the artist's artistic abilities.

The article discusses the features of the cognitive processes of students, including the process of cognition in context with the artistic and educational environment that ensures the reflection of the phenomena of the objective world in solving the upcoming life tasks. The impact of an insufficiently objective attitude to the discipline «Visual arts» in school teaching practice, which influences the development of cognitive-visual (visual-cognitive) thinking of students, is shown. It is in the artistic and educational environment that the skills of visual perception of various information are formed using the pictorial language of images, clarity, sign and symbolic systems that promote the conscious use of concepts and inference in any academic discipline. As a result, it is shown that the development of cognitive processes includes the formation of internal motivational activity of children, methods of perception of visual information associated with information exchange, inspired by cognitive metaphor and cognitive load, as a result, children's intellectual development, including cognition, explanation and understanding of educational information.

One of the most promising modern methods of mental calculation training to preschool children is considered in the article – mental arithmetic, the main tool of which is the abacus –calculating tools invented in China. Features of intellectual development and logical thinking of preschool children, the history of the origin of methodology and abacus are described. The process of transition from work with calculation tolls to mental calculation is detailed. The article analyzes typical problems of mental arithmetic, various types of activities in the classroom, the main stages and levels of training.

This article is devoted to necessity of using non-traditional art techniques for the purpose of creative imagination development of elder preschoolers. The work also suggests some techniques of non-traditional drawing, their role in psychological development of children and the results of the program implementation, which is aimed to the creative imagination development of preschoolers through the creative drawing and a non-traditional drawing technique.

The author of this article has studied the peculiarities of imagination of preschoolers and younger school children on the autism spectrum. The paper has shown the results of an experimental study with a group of children on the autism spectrum disorder and the conclusions on work accomplished.

Game activity takes an honorable place in the arsenal of foreign languages teachers. Playing activity application is aimed at the development of all necessary skills for high-grade communication. The analysis of lesson conducted in this study shows us that the technique of the game helps to make the learning process more interesting and memorable and the information studied - more accessible and understandable for each student.

This article analyzes the characteristics of gaming activities at foreign language lessons. The author on the example of the English language lesson shows how during the game in the child formes and develops, corrects and improves different psychological properties, how the interest to read foreign literature and the study the history of language of the country is emerging.
