Alongside its social and cultural role, higher education is, and will continue to be, central to Sudan's performance in the twenty first century. It is the key mechanism through which knowledge is generated, preserved and passed on. Since higher skills significantly influence life chances and earning potential, wider and fairer access to higher education is a question of basic social justice. To succeed in widening access to poorer students over the coming years. It is in the interests of the society that there are no caps on talent in Sudan'. Fairer access to university for the educationally disadvantaged but able sudanese pupils has to remain a key concern. In this paper we set out our strategy for sustaining a quota system for higher education to help rectify the damaged social fabric in wor-torn areas of Sudan by temporarily constitutionalizing positive discrimination in education.

The article deals with the problem of patriotic, spiritual and moral education of the younger generation of the Russian Federation. The author collected data by interviewing schoolchildren of grades 6-11. The research base was MBOU secondary school No. 37 in Stavropol. After the survey, the author analyzed the data using the linear approximation method. The generalized results showed that the majority of students are ready to defend the Russian Federation and support the current government. This pattern grows with the age of the respondents, which indicates the direct role of the educational institution in patriotic education. At the moment, the All-Russian children's and youth military-patriotic social movement "Yunarmiya" is one of the most important elements of the state program for the revival of patriotic values and the education of the younger generation, aimed at forming positively significant ideas about the Motherland, expressing an emotional attitude to the Motherland.

In case of thermal skin burns, especially dermal burns (IIIA degree), it is important to pay attention to the prevalence and the severity of the inflammatory reaction in the wound that may affect the viability of survived sebaceous and sweat glands, their epithelial cells can serve as a substrate for self-epithelialization of the skin. Local microvascular abnormalities in the damaged dermis are due to changes in the walls of blood vessels and the structure of the cellular elements of the blood, which form a clear correlation with secondary damage to the dermis.

The paper examines approaches to the estimation of intergenerational correlations of earnings and education. Reasons for the existence of the correlation between characteristics of parents and children are stated. Restrictions for the application of the concept of credit constraints to explain intergenerational correlations are discussed. Approaches to identifying the causal effects of parental income and education on children’s ones are reviewed.

Using the data of 1994–2013, the effects of parents’ educational attainments and locality on educational achievements of adult sons and daughters are estimated. Parents’ educational attainments affect educational achievements of both sons and daughters positively. Locality strongly affects sons’ educational achievements, while daughters’ educational attainments are less dependent on it.

The author uses the data of 1994–2013 to estimate the effects of parent’s education and locality on occupation of adult sons and daughters, discovers that occupation of both sons and daughters depends on parent’s education. A high education attainment of parents increases the probability of children to be employed as officials, managers, or professionals. Locality has a strong influence on son’s occupation, while its effect on daughter’s occupation is less pronounced.

The article considers the problem of a culture of free time as a factor in the formation of modern society that has entered the era of globalization, which provides opportunities for a variety of leisure activities and at the same time creates a problematic situation for the person associated with the effective use of leisure potential for the development of leisure culture of the person. The aim of this study was to examine the role and leisure time value in the formation of social and cultural values ​​in our society between two generations - today's youth (18 to 30 years) and the older generation (56 to 66 years), to identify the particular preferences among the two generations in the field of leisure, to provide a comparative analysis and assessment of the data. Before the author had the task of considering the organization of free time as a scientific and social problems, its effective implementation representatives of the two age groups, the disclosure of the content of free time was the concept of culture. In the study, quantitative and qualitative methods of sociological research were used: unstructured participant observation, expert interviews, interviews (questionnaires) in compliance with the quota sample of the population composition of the proportions by gender and age. In the analysis the author focused on such objective indicators of the quality of free time as a variety of leisure activities, especially the preferences of the two generations in the recreation (degree of interest in reading, turning to information and communication technologies, the frequency of visits to cultural and leisure facilities and so on.). The article substantiates the idea that free time acquires its true value when it is directed to the full development of the person and the acquisition of their socio-cultural values ​​as well as with the growth of free time, the role of self-development and reduced the share of inactive leisure.

В статье рассматривается вопрос семейных взаимоотношений и иерархии ценностей у женщин трех поколений, проживающих в небольшом российском городе. В результате исследования было выявлено, что, несмотря на наличие некоторых особенностей у женщин разных поколений, глобально жители небольших городов транслируют традиционные семейные ценности, при которых важнейшими являются «защита семьи» и «понимание и доверие в семье».
