In this article the question of the origin and peculiarities of the personality of Elena, the mother of Emperor Constantine, is studied, the data of church historians and later medieval legends are compared.

In the work the problems of reflection, its role in the process of teaching foreign languages are considered. Correlation of reflection, self-estimation and motivation as the most important factor influencing the successful learning of a foreign language is reviewed. This article examines the relationship of young people creative potential with the level of mastering the personal native Kalmyk language. The study, which was conducted on the basis of elite and comprehensive secondary schools of the Kalmyk schools (Kalmyks - bilinguals), revealed the title trend: the higher the level of mastery of the native Kalmyk language, the richer creative musical abilities of senior person (instrumental, vocal, dance) in Kalmyk folk music are expressed. The article discusses the usefulness of the application of the method of girudo-therapy for preserving and strengthening of human health. The use of girudothera-py in combination with drug therapy provides higher and more rapid effect of treatment. On the basis of clinical and survey data of 162 patients with different diseases the influence of girudotherapy on the dynamics of the improvement of the condition of the patients and their curing was analyzed. The analysis showed that treatment with girudotherapy in combination with other methods leads to more rapid relief of pain, improvement of blood microcirculation and the positive dy-namics of treatment. Gerudotherapy relieves inflammation and restores the immune system.
