The article is devoted to the current problems of learning foreign language by advanced academic staff. The author outlines that academic staff learn a foreign language to upgrade their skills, therefore while teaching advanced adults it is necessary to take into consideration some peculiarities which are connected to their life and educational experience. The main advantage is in immediate application of acquired skills and knowledge. The author comes to the conclusion that, upgrading his or her skills by learning foreign language an academic becomes the unique specialist who implements innovative methods and projects.

The article presents various forms and methods of physics teaching to students of a technical university of oil profile, allowing to maintain an optimal level of knowledge acquisition by future bachelors in the conditions of a substantial reduction of the time allocated by modern curricula for studying this subject. Possibilities of using certain approaches for effective organization of the learning process are discussed, those possibilities are used at the Department of Physics and Chemistry of the Almetyevsk State Oil Institute. Attention is drawn to the relevance of intersubject communications usage, contributing to the successful acquisition of professional knowledge and skills, which are the basis for the future engineer. The essence and effectiveness of the grade-rating system application are revealed in the assessment of students' knowledge.

On the basis of analysis of federal state educational standards and studies on the design, optimality and efficiency of the learning process, a basic model of the educational process is proposed in the article, based on the block-modular approach and the mathematical graph theory. It is shown that during the process design and depending on the filling of modules and their meaning, this model can be transformed and useful not only in the development and analysis of work programs, but also reflect the development of the personality, including taking into account negative factors. The boundaries of the proposed model usage are determined. The question of introducing qualitative and quantitative grades of this model on the basis of graph theory for controlling bodies is considered. Advantages of the block-modular approach application to the creation of educational programs in conjunction with the application of the model of the proposed species are highlighted.

The article considers the implementation of grade-rating system based on the example of Rating Tools Fund development on the discipline “Pedagogical testing”. The regulation on grade-rating system has been developed at the Russian State Vocational Pedagogical University. It provides for the maximum quantity of rating points which can be earned by the student during the semester. The Rating Tools Fund has maximum quantity of rating points for each test (exam) that is presented as a rating tool.

The article deals with issues related to ensuring the quality of the educational process in the system of higher professional education. The methodology and technology of a point-rating evaluation of the training session with students at the university is substantiated in the process of organizational and methodical activities for the control of the educational process at the faculty of the university. The article presents the “Technological map of the analysis of the training session” and justifies the technology of the score-rating evaluation of the training session in the system of higher professional education.

This article analyzes the theoretical prerequisites for the formation of communicative competences for the 8th and 9th grade students of the main school in the implementation of State educational standard of a basic general education. These competences are formed in the process of psychological and pedagogical support of the design and research activities of students. The author's experience in psychological and pedagogical support of contemporary design and research activities of the 8th and 9th grade students through their participation in competitions at various levels aimed at communicative competencies development, as well as preparation for choice of studies and further professional self-determination, is considered.

The paper presents the characteristics of growth and development of soybean varieties Ivan Karamanov outputted in the Khabarovsk Territory, in the conditions of the Ussuriisk urban district of Primorsky Krai on the shorter photoperiod. Under these conditions, varieties Ivan Karamanov decreased growing season, reduced plant height and the height of the attachment of the lower bean yield was 2.73t \ ha.

It shows that in the late twentieth century the Karelian Research Institute of Forest Industry is actively conducted research aimed at the transition to logging in assortments and in the comprehensive development of low-grade wood.
