«Teenagers’ engaging to sports as a psychological and pedagogical issue»

The given article justifies the necessity to engage adolescent students to physical culture. Based upon the analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature, the author concludes that a traditional approach in physical culture classes, used in the majority of schools, is unattractive for teenagers. They are interested in other sports, which are popular among their age mates. The conclusion is that in the current situation it is necessary to review the content of physical education (taking into account dominant motivation of school students to physical culture and sports based on gender preferences).

«Psychological and pedagogical conditions for the preventions of deviant behavior among adolescents»

This article focuses on such a highly relevant subject as the prevention and correction of deviant behavior in the adolescent environment. The study revealed the main vectors for the development of the modern science of deviant behavior, identified the main causes of deviations and carried out a comparative analysis of the work on the prevention of deviant behavior in the CIS countries and abroad. This paper proved that the key factor in the prevention and correction of deviant behavior should be, firstly, the family as the primary and the most important institution of identity formation, and secondly, the pedagogically controlled environment of educational institutions serving as a condition for socialization and personal development for children and adolescents.

«Actualization of the ideas of narrative pedagogy in the conditions of personality-oriented education of higher school»

The author has noted that the main goal of personally-oriented education is a holistic personality development and formation of personal self-reflection and process actualization of personal development. Formed theoretical and methodological grounds of the indicated project are not always supported by specific methods and strategies for their implementation in practice in terms of higher education. An effective tool in this situation can become narrative approach, which is being actively developed in foreign pedagogy. The narrative approach combines the ideas of social constructionism, phenomenological pedagogy and hermeneutics texts. A full assessment of the narrative approach is possible only in terms of its practical implementation.

«Students’ understanding of a hero and heroic: to the problem of scarcity and quality of education in modern educational practice»

The article discusses the problems of mainstreaming the socialization process and organization of specially organized educational activity at school and psychological and pedagogical technologies, helping to form students’ understanding of a hero and heroic. The problem is that a part of modern generation of children, teenagers and young men doesn’t see the differences between constructive activities, positive and prosocial behavior and mock-heroic activities. This may partly be a result of socialization, because there appears a new type of understanding about heroic behavior while this process. The children and teenagers’ understanding of heroes and heroic can be affected by the technologies of falsification and deheroization, which are used in mass media. The author draws attention to the need for targeted activity on patriotic and spiritual and moral education of students by means of expanding their understanding of hero and heroic, development of semantic characteristics of a hero, his historical and modern completeness. The work optimization in this direction is a crucial task for a pedagogical process on the development of moral and ethical spheres of a person during educational process and socialization.
