This paper examines some of the theoretical issues regarding the publication of the Industry 4.0 practices as a voluntary disclosure in the process of business communication. The usage of such reporting is linked to the general process of Sustainable Development Goals achieving in different business and cultural environments. In such approach, a question about the possible role of Sustainability Reports as a communication modality in the global economy arises.

This article focuses on the equality of the estimated late losses resulting from the application of the chain ladder model to the estimates obtained on the basis of the incremental development triangle by cross-parameterizing the rated increments of losses with Poisson distributions using the generalized linear model. In this article, the formulas of the chain ladder model are derived by solving the problem of cross parameterization of rated increments of losses. Smaller accounting groups than the risk, along which the development triangle is formed, make conclusions about the possible bases for the sharing of reserves. This issue may be relevant for the further calculation of actuarial premiums.

This article considers social reporting as a new phenomenon for Russian companies. The relevance of the topic is determined by the growing interest in environmental and social activities of companies from stakeholders and at the level of government initiatives. Russian business representatives are aware of the importance of presenting non-financial information, but only some of them publish social reporting now. The authors propose a reporting methodology based on GRI for companies planning to switch to non-financial reporting.

This article is abour practical methods of teaching history that were used in pre-revolutionary Russian secondary education. These methods have proven themselves in the past and can be used in the present day history lessons, whether it’s 5-6th grade or high school. Methods used during the course of research are comparative and analytical. Practical recommendations on the use of such methods of teaching are given on the basis of research.

This article discusses the basic concepts of an extensible business reporting language (XBRL). The international experience of application, functionality of XBRL is presented and the comparative analysis of realization XBRL by means of the software in the different countries is given.
