The currency of the programming skills grows continuously. Last years it grows even in professions which are not directly connected with programming. People create own applications to extend basic opportunities - to automatize routine operation, save time, and decrease mistakes happened because of the human factor. It is obvious, that growing computerization in all spheres of human life favors the increasing need for programming skills in foreseeable future. Thus, topicality of education and self-education in the sphere of programming tends to increase as well. This paper presents the example of using NeoBook rapid application builder. NeoBook can be used for creating different applications even by not specialists in the sphere of computer technologies. It is well-known that “better to see something once than to hear about it a thousand times”. So, we demonstrate all steps of creating one specific project by a young NeoBook beginner - 11-year-old girl.

The article presents the research of information protection means against unauthorized access to an automated radionuclide spectrometry system. As a result of the conducted researches, the system's security indicators have been obtained, which allow to calculate and optimize the probability of damage from unauthorized access taking into account the operating time and the applied information protection means.
