Статья посвящена исследованию аллюзий в текстах песен популярной татарской и американской певиц Ильсии Бадретдиновой и Pink. На основе анализа текстов были сделаны следующие выводы: Ильсия Бадретдинова посредством аллюзий затрагивает проблемы, свойственные родному народу, сравнивая жизнь татар сегодня и в прошлом; тогда как Pink рассматривает свою страну как мировую державу, оказывающую огромное влияние на мир в целом.

This article covers the expression of implicit gender identity of the subject of speech activity in the 19th and 20th century women's memories. The study revealed that implicit gender aspects associated with linguistic ascertainment of gender stereotypes presented in female linguistic material form the lexico-semantic category of “Character”. Within this category, the lexico-semantic sub-categories “Emotionality”, “Fearfulness and diffidence” and “Dreaminess” play a significant role, representing the corresponding stereotypes.

The article focuses on the use of supplementary authentic reading texts in teaching English as a foreign language. It aims at improving the reading skills and strategies of adult learners in a conventional classroom setting and in a computerized learning environment. The use of authentic materials is an important principle of communicative language learning and it contributes to the development of an individual learning style and learner autonomy. Developing reading skills is an important part of foreign language teaching. Foreign language textbooks offer a variety of reading texts but there is usually a one-size-fits-all approach to the way the texts are presented and to the choice of reading comprehension exercises. When that is the case, foreign language teachers try to find supplementary texts and design their own exercises. In order to achieve better results, certain issues have to be taken into account. These are the similarities and differences between reading in one’s first language and reading in a foreign language, the reasons for reading and the aims of a reading programme, the advantages and disadvantages of using authentic texts at all levels of language proficiency and the criteria we use to choose appropriate texts from various sources.

This article presents a variant of the organization of extracurricular reading - translation, abstracting and annotating - the authentic texts in English from the Workshop are being used, developed by the author and published in the military high school (2015). В данной статье авторами представлены общелингвистические закономерности в формировании семантико-синтаксической структуры описательных микротекстов, связанных с пейзажем и интерьером в художественных текстах. Представлены попытки определить основу и общие проблемы теории текста, проанализировать состояние изучения строения текста в общем языкознании, а также выявить общие принципы построения интерьерных и пейзажных описательных микротекстов.

Статья посвящена обучению иностранному языку студентов неязыковых специальностей, в частности речь идет о развитии навыков изучающего чтения. The authors chose actual theme firstly because they are interested in thematic and content peculiarities of modern youth songs which could, from the author's point of view, hardly be referred to poetic texts. The question of spiritual and historic connections importance for author, russian poetry traditions observance and cultural continuity in texts of russian songs of different periods is raised by authors.
