This article describes the figurative component of the linguacultural concept «property» revealed through the text analysis of the novel «The Man of Property» by John Galsworthy. The authors define the basic properties of the concept «property» and prototypical methods of reflecting objects and phenomena by this concept. The results of this research may be used in creating dictionaries of linguacultural concepts of the English language.

The paper outlines the main concepts of intercultural communication in modern foreign language educational environment. В данной статье раскрываются конкурентные преимущества событийного туризма перед другими его видами: уникальность, комплексность и многоаспектность, всесезонность, высокая доходность и регулярность, неистощимость по содержанию, возможность для брендирования целой территории, а также в ней выявляются необходимые для развития этого туризма ключевые ресурсы в форме различных культурных мероприятий, использующих богатое культурно-историческое наследие народов Южной Сибири. В статье делаются выводы, что все указанные мероприятия в этом регионе регулярно проводятся, привлекая многих туристов. Но специальных туров на эти мероприятия не существует, турфирмы не занимаются разработкой и реализацией таких турпродуктов, поэтому и масштабы привлечения туристов не отличаются большими объемами. Т. е. эти события являются пока только неэффективно используемым ресурсом.
