The author outlines the experience of synchronizing documents that determine the content of education in the areas of training bachelors in library and information activities. She shows how the disciplines of the curriculum, the basic educational program, and the system of assignments for students’ extracurricular research work are brought in accordance with the requirements of employers expressed in the professional standard “Specialist in Library and Information Activities.”

The transition to a cumulative system of professional development of teaching staff is one of the key factors in the modernization of the Russian education system at the present stage. Monitoring of existing models of accumulative systems, including their regulatory regulation at the level of regional educational systems and educational organizations implementing professional development programs, shows that the reasons for introducing this organizational model are the peculiarities of education development in the conditions of the formation of the information society, the implementation of the National Project "Education", the implementation of the competence model of education, professional standards, the involvement of teachers with basic non-pedagogical (university) education in school. An important circumstance is also the upcoming renewal of the mechanisms for financing educational services related to the allocation of funds for professional development.

The given article is devoted to revealing the essence of the concept «individual educational route». The results of the research expand the knowledge of the essence of the concepts «individual educational trajectory», «individual curriculum», «individual educational program». The purpose of an individual educational route is considered from the perspective of a cultural approach.

The conception of synergic approach presented in the article concerns building curriculums for foreign language. The competency format of the Federal State Educational Standard is a ground for structuring curriculums on the following principles: interdisciplinary, homeostatic, hierarchical, open, complimentary, nonlinear and activity and communication unity. There are some discrepancies and inaccuracies in the interpretation of certain events associated with the establishment and operation of schools and the organization of the educational process in them in the military-historical literature and other sources dealing with the military special schools’ foundation in St. Petersburg, where the training for the artillery corps had been provided during the first half of the eighteenth century. In particular, it is argued that the Saint-Petersburg artillery school «for Pushkarsk children» was established on May 20, 1730. In this article, the author, based on the study of new archival sources, specifies the date of establishment of this school. Scientific work also aims to complete the existing information about the organization and the activities of the artillery military special schools in St. Petersburg during this period. In addition, for the first time some archival sources are being introduced into scientific circulation.

The article considers one of the ways of solving the main task of the special-purpose programme of education development in Russian Federation – the correspondence between the professional education structure and content and the labor market demands. The author proposes the correlation of principles of the professional education, the professional linguodidactics and the synergetics to be the basis of a syllabus for the course “Foreign Language”. The purpose is to increase the productivity of the course in non-linguistic university and achieve the results stipulated in the Federal State Educational Standards of Higher Education.
