Автором выявлены основные виды современной интернет-рекламы, их специфика и некоторые особенности воздействия на потенциального потребителя. Результаты проведенного анализа позволяют сделать вывод о дальнейшем росте популярности данного канала распространения информации, несмотря на негативное отношение респондентов.

В качестве метода социологического исследования используется анкетный опрос, позволяющий выявить отношение молодежной аудитории к рекламе в сети Интернет, а также некоторые аспекты по совершенствованию эффективности рекламного воздействия на изучаемую категорию респондентов.
