The article is a research about extracurricular activities improvement in conditions of the Federal State Educational Standard. There is shown an experience of the comprehensive program of the extracurricular activities in languages, music, choreography, acting skills and musical instruments. The program aim is to promote learning of Udmurt and other Finno-Ugric languages and cultures in Izhevsk city.

Stockbreeding was the main source of public welfare, the cattle belonged to individual or large families. The materials of «Manas» epic show that the Kyrgyz people used to have an extensive nomadic stockbreeding. The people roaming in steppe areas, bred horses, sheep, cattle, camels – Kyrgyz people called these animals «four kinds of cattle».

The article considers content-based links between the concepts of «civilization» and «culture» in the Russian and English languages. The purpose of the study is comparing their content-based components in the lexical semantic fields of verbalization of the concepts under consideration in the Russian and English languages. The research employs the method of cognitive comparative analysis. The analysis of lexical and semantic composition reveals similarities and differences in their structuring in the English and Russian languages. This article considers the question about introduction and development of Russian mediation institute. According to the authors the adoption of the Law on Mediation testifies that the state gives a new impetus to the process of constitutional state formation and to the development of alternative methods of dispute resolution. The problematic aspects of the mediation development are described in this article. As the results of the study the authors suggest to enhance the effectiveness of media-tion, which is a special form of interposition.
