The current study’s area of research is characterized by the relations between “ethnos”, “culture” and “language” phenomena. The subject of the research consists of the linguistic means of explication of ethnic stereotypes of the US Army subculture.

This research focuses on a dialectic interrelation between language and culture perceived as existential manifestations of the national spirit. In this article, the author analyzes the specialties of the traditional Kyrgyz nomadic economics, which were reflected in the epic of Manas. The analysis of the given epic shows traditional life and activity of the Kyrgyz people and it describes different branches of economics like cattle-breading, agriculture, hunting, trade and hand-craft in epical form. Stockbreeding was the main source of public welfare, the cattle belonged to individual or large families. The materials of «Manas» epic show that the Kyrgyz people used to have an extensive nomadic stockbreeding. The people roaming in steppe areas, bred horses, sheep, cattle, camels – Kyrgyz people called these animals «four kinds of cattle».

The author investigates the concept of essence of culture by means of antichaos content of human activity, shows the multidimensionality of culture. In this article the culture instrumentality in person’s activity has been approved.

The article considers content-based links between the concepts of «civilization» and «culture» in the Russian and English languages. The purpose of the study is comparing their content-based components in the lexical semantic fields of verbalization of the concepts under consideration in the Russian and English languages. The research employs the method of cognitive comparative analysis. The analysis of lexical and semantic composition reveals similarities and differences in their structuring in the English and Russian languages. According to the author the result of comparison suggests implications that the concepts under study are perceived differently by the representatives of the Russian and English cultures and contributes to the revelation of national peculiarity of conceptualization of cognate phenomena in the mentality of different peoples.

This article considers the question about introduction and development of Russian mediation institute. According to the authors the adoption of the Law on Mediation testifies that the state gives a new impetus to the process of constitutional state formation and to the development of alternative methods of dispute resolution. The problematic aspects of the mediation development are described in this article. This article examines the literary translation as a normative value system of contacting cultures, reveals its intercultural and communicative functions. In field experiments it was tasked to pick an effective system oto protect of spring rape crops from weeds, allowing to receive stable high productivity from commodity rapeseeds. Evaluation of productivity and suitability for the cultivation of oilseeds on commodity and seeds in the region of the Middle Urals in nine cases of intensification of the use of plant protection products in order to evaluate and use in a production environment. It was found that the studied drugs have unequal impact on the growth and development of plants and yield formation.
