This article discusses the specifics of application of methods of problem training in the system of the basic general education taking into account age of pupils. Attention is also paid to difficulties experienced by any teacher who chooses to apply to their work the technology. A brief description of the levels of problem-based learning with the requirements of the GEF is given.

The work is devoted to the development of divergent thinking of senior pupils. The author considers preparation of pupils for subject olympiad as a tool of divergent thinking development among senior pupils. A researcher draws attention to the olympaid stages and objectives of each stage, which should be addressed while preparation for the olympaid. The paper identified the most important olympaid stage in the process of preparation, which generates divergent abilities such as creativity, cognitive activity and motivational activity, necessary for the development of divergent thinking among high school students and the results of empirical experiment are also shown.

«Learner-centered developing education of junior school pupils while implementing Federal State Education Standards»
The work system allows keeping careful attitude towards the child’s inner world and the wideness of their individuality, as well as agreement between external and internal factors of their personality development. The teacher aligns the pupil’s zone of proximal development and advance in the topic. Structure of education process principally affects the pupil’s position. The pupil actively participates in every step of education, and freedom of choice makes education conscious, productive and more effective.
