«The Development of Reading Competence of Technical Major Students at Higher School in the Process of Language for Specific Purposes Learning»
The paper emphasizes the relevance of the reader’s competence development at the University by means of English as a Foreign Language as an important component of the formation of communicative professionally oriented competence for the purpose of pursuing long life professional, research and personal growth of graduates at the international level in a global multicultural world. Specificity of forming the readers’ competence of students of technical specialties at the University is analyzed, taking into account the educational levels of the academic space organization at the university. The set of essential approaches: competence, interdisciplinary and personality-oriented in the process of English for Specific Purposes learning is taken into account. The concept of “reading competence” is considered as a valuable component of general professional competence of Higher School students of non-linguistic major. The importance of using Internet technologies as an interactive basis for teaching English for Specific Purposes is accented.

«Полиязычие и его преимущества»
В данной статье авторами рассмотрена необходимость и эффективность изучения иностранных языков в раннем возрасте, проанализированы также преимущества полиязычия. В работе предоставлено несколько причин, способствующих благоприятному изучению языков. В ходе исследования был проведен небольшой опрос среди жителей города, студентов и школьников по данному вопросу, то есть о полиязычном подходе в обучении.

«Документирование в деятельности среднего общеобразовательного учреждения: классификация и русско-якутский перевод»
Как отмечает автор данной статьи, нормативно-правовая база общеобразовательной организации представлена локальными правовыми актами различного уровня в соответствии с федеральными, региональными и муниципальными нормативными правовыми актами. Поскольку в республике государственными языками являются русский и якутский, которые имеют равные государственные права, документы образовательной организации могут оформляться на якутском языке. Участники образовательного процесса, коренные жители, живущие в сельской местности Республики Саха (Якутия), вправе ознакомиться с локальными актами школы на родном якутском языке. Для этого необходимо правильно оформить русско-якутский перевод документацию среднего общеобразовательного учреждения.

The article reveals the question of communication peculiarities in Spanish and English cultures using an example of comparison and collation of verbal and nonverbal linguistic behavior; describes cultural values and their expression in the language. The research is based on historic, geographic and climate components and perception of time, that are responsible for national and cultural specificity of expression and exchange of thoughts and help to avoid misunderstanding in the process of communication.

The work is devoted to the description of the specifics of teaching Russian to Chinese students, taking into account the national language personality. The aim of the study is to study the peculiarities of the educational process on the Russian language in the audience of Chinese students of the initial stage of education in the conditions of Russia. The description is based on the identification of the nationally determined features of the Chinese language personality, which allows to model the optimal ways of teaching the Russian language to the Chinese contingent of the level A1–A2.

The article deals with priorities of level language learning at non-linguistic institutions of higher professional education in Russia and contains recommendations for level learning. Attention is paid to delineate the most urgent problems that require further development. Teaching foreign languages is an actively developing field of e-learning. Creating an online course on teaching a foreign language is one of the possible options for the systematization and organization of all components of the learning process. The electronic training course is an educational electronic publication or resource for supporting the educational process in institutions of general, special, professional education. The article considers the main components of a specialized online course «Electronic Literature: language and digital culture education practice» and its introduction into the educational process within the framework of the educational program for undergraduates who major in Pedagogical Education at Novosibirsk State Technical University. This interdisciplinary resource is relevant for teaching foreign languages and literature, it plays an important role in improving the level of linguistic and cultural competence.

Foreign language teaching in modern conditions is a priority direction and an essential component of professional activity of engineers. Particular attention is paid to such linguistic aspects as reading technical literature, writing activities and project work. The developed system of tasks is aimed at the activation of lexical and grammatical material.

This paper reviews the main issues of using podcasts during teaching process of foreign languages in technical university to develop skills of speaking and listening. The article defines the concept of a podcast. It describes the main advantages of using this technology. The guidelines on the subject matter, content and grouping learning materials in podcasts are given in this article. The authors provide a scheme of working with podcasts during independent study of a foreign language.

«To the question of the realization of practice-oriented approach at technical university»
The article deals with the practice-oriented approach during the teaching of Russian students of technical university. Relevance of the practice oriented approach in training of students of the technical higher education institution is proved in the article, the essence of this approach is defined. The possibilities of the educational process to realize the practice oriented approach are presented. The author focuses on the organization of practice for student which provides interrelation of theoretical and practical training of future professional staff; presents the statements which must be taken into consideration when determining the content of practical foreign lessons. The types of practical tasks are considered which are beneficial in realization of the practice oriented approach.
