This article describes some theoretical tasks of multicultural education of teenagers in foreign language teaching. The work also has analyzed inter-functional influence of the language and culture in the process of foreign language teaching.

The current study’s area of research is characterized by the relations between “ethnos”, “culture” and “language” phenomena. The subject of the research consists of the linguistic means of explication of ethnic stereotypes of the US Army subculture.

This article examines the literary translation as a normative value system of contacting cultures, reveals its intercultural and communicative functions. The role and place of literary translation as one of the most important tools for building relationships in the international community is defined. This problem is solved by the example of the translation of novels by the French writer J. Simenon in the Russian language. The author of the article analyzes the errors made in the translation and reveales their negative role in the dialogue of cultures.

The problem of enhancing students’ motivation to foreign language learning is considered in this article. This article discusses the language development of young children through the use of speech fitness technology.

This article examines the relationship of young people creative potential with the level of mastering the personal native Kalmyk language. The study, which was conducted on the basis of elite and comprehensive secondary schools of the Kalmyk schools (Kalmyks - bilinguals), revealed the title trend: the higher the level of mastery of the native Kalmyk language, the richer creative musical abilities of senior person (instrumental, vocal, dance) in Kalmyk folk music are expressed. These processes are correlated with ethnic and cultural identity of the subjects, high school students. The concept and diagnostic tools of research can be used in other regions of our country, taking into account their specific features.

One of the urgent problems of modern linguistics and intercultural communication is a lexicographical description of speech in conjunction with its peculiar cultural background. This problem is solved by creating a vocabulary that reveals the child's world through language. This bilingual child has never been the object of lexicographing and linguocultural analysis before. The selected approach to the study of speech features of bilingual children is stipulated by the role of cultural background in the system of language means reflecting the specific perception of life conditions in several cultures at the same time. For the first time the authors developed a model describing lexicographical vocabulary of bilingual child speech. The main method of collecting material was questionnaires.

The following article investigates the problem of russian economy transfer into a new technological structure which is possible only after accurate research of high-tech markets. A review of authors investigating markets is given and Vernon Smith's paper about experimental investigation of competetive markets dynamics was thoroughly examined. In addition to this the article represents the most perspective methods of holding the experiments in the field of economics and in particular in high technologies.
