The work is devoted to the description of the specifics of teaching Russian to Chinese students, taking into account the national language personality. The aim of the study is to study the peculiarities of the educational process on the Russian language in the audience of Chinese students of the initial stage of education in the conditions of Russia. The description is based on the identification of the nationally determined features of the Chinese language personality, which allows to model the optimal ways of teaching the Russian language to the Chinese contingent of the level A1–A2.

«Level strategies for teaching a foreign language at the university»
The article deals with priorities of level language learning at non-linguistic institutions of higher professional education in Russia and contains recommendations for level learning. Attention is paid to delineate the most urgent problems that require further development. A level approach to foreign language teaching is considered as both a practical strategy in organizing foreign language teaching at the university and a factor that contributes to the development of educational system.

This article can be useful for improving lexical work in Russian language classes, which contributes to the formation of spiritual and moral guidelines of students.

Teaching foreign languages is an actively developing field of e-learning. Creating an online course on teaching a foreign language is one of the possible options for the systematization and organization of all components of the learning process. The electronic training course is an educational electronic publication or resource for supporting the educational process in institutions of general, special, professional education. The article considers the main components of a specialized online course «Electronic Literature: language and digital culture education practice» and its introduction into the educational process within the framework of the educational program for undergraduates who major in Pedagogical Education at Novosibirsk State Technical University. This interdisciplinary resource is relevant for teaching foreign languages and literature, it plays an important role in improving the level of linguistic and cultural competence.

The structure and content of the course for postgraduates of non-linguistic specialties is analyzed. Foreign language teaching in modern conditions is a priority direction and an essential component of professional activity of engineers. Particular attention is paid to such linguistic aspects as reading technical literature, writing activities and project work. The developed system of tasks is aimed at the activation of lexical and grammatical material.

«To the question of the realization of practice-oriented approach at technical university»
The article deals with the practice-oriented approach during the teaching of Russian students of technical university. Relevance of the practice oriented approach in training of students of the technical higher education institution is proved in the article, the essence of this approach is defined. The possibilities of the educational process to realize the practice oriented approach are presented. The author focuses on the organization of practice for student which provides interrelation of theoretical and practical training of future professional staff; presents the statements which must be taken into consideration when determining the content of practical foreign lessons. The types of practical tasks are considered which are beneficial in realization of the practice oriented approach.

The article considers the possibilities of the organization of students training at technical university via the dialogue teaching. The author focuses on the analysis of many instances of using dialogue technology in the system of modern education and makes a conclusion that the dialogue technology contains enormous potential in its educational application at university. It requires further investigation, software design and methodological support.

The article analyzes ways of encoding mental experience in language structures, examines the effect of information filters of consciousness that starts the process of substitution of intentional subject-of-interest and distortion of the represented experience. The author introduces two dimensions of symbolic representation, describes four types of relationships between representing and represented. According to the analysis the essence of consciousness is a psi mechanism distinguishing representing from represented.

These methods are the most effective and meet the requirements of a modern business man. «The development of discourse competence of bachelors in economics»
In this article the author shares pedagogical experience of formation discursive competence of students of the faculty "Management" during the sequential action of two corresponding federal state educational standards of bachelor level, which resulted in problems of scientific research. On a theoretical level, it provides a comparative analysis of the scientific literature and regulations dealing with the formation of discursive competence of students-managers. At the empirical level, it used methods of observation and generalization of pedagogical experience. Conclusions at the end of the work can be taken into account when training and for further research.

В статье излагается взгляд автора на проблему симметричности/асимметричности в языке в диахроническом плане. Исследователь использует материал архаичного кетского языка, сохранившего следы всех прошлых этапов развития, и сравнивает его с данными индоевропейских языков. В результате делается вывод о зигзагообразном развитии языка от асимметрии к симметрии и наоборот.

«From soldier to marshal: the origin of the ranks of the French army»
This article discusses one of the fragments of the lexical system of the French language – the origin of terms denoting military ranks in the armed forces of France. The etymological analysis is carried out in close connection with the concrete historical situation which gave rise to the need of such language units. The author outlines the practical basis of the comparative study of the ways of lexical designation of ranks in the major European languages, including Russian.
