The intellectual potential of a society is explained not by the simple sum of individuals who make up its intellectual potential, but by the manifestation of a state of qualitative changes. Any attempt to measure intellectual potential using formulas leads to its consideration as a simple arithmetic sum. As a result of the activity of an individual, the qualitative state of the intellectual potential of society, the realization of its intellectual potential, apparently determine the level of development of society and all its subsystems: economic, ensuring the production of products, satisfying the material needs of people.

Today, in the modern world, against the background of lack of stability and confidence in the future, increased natural and man-made disasters, lack of mutual understanding in international relations, demand for the services of practicing psychologists and psychotherapists is gaining momentum. As the authors claim, it is safe to say that the current century is the age of psychotherapy, the demand for which is increasing every day. The article declares that, despite the available knowledge of psychotherapists in many areas of psychotherapy, each specialist chooses for himself a more characteristic and effective method of working with clients. I use a comprehensive approach to therapy depending on the request generated by the client. One of the proven methods today is existential.

The article presents a brief overview of the study of classical Islamic philosophy in chronological order. According to the author, in Western countries, the scientific research of Islamic philosophy began within the framework of the Christian scholastic tradition, yet later the analysis of Arabic texts as well as the structure of Islamic theoretical thought was initiated. Some scholars applied a methodological approach to the study of Islamic philosophy. Orientalist philologists also played an important role in the study of the religious and philosophical doctrine of Islam. Both of these schools adopted a methodological approach based on the traditions of Christian and Jewish philosophy and theology, which in some aspects had similarities with Islamic thought.

The article describes the history of the study of Muslim philosophy in Russia. Before the October Revolution, research in this field occupied a secondary position compared to religious studies and the study of the political and social history of the Muslim East, in particular the regions whose influence extended to Russia or which were part of the Russian Empire. The main centres of Oriental studies were St. Petersburg, Moscow and Kazan. The first work in Russian devoted to the philosophy of Islam was the monograph by Panteleimon Zhuze. Based on the data presented in the article, the author comes to the following conclusion: philosophical Islamic studies in Russia, having overcome the crisis of the 1990s, is developing in line with modern trends in world science, abandoning the dogmatic ideas of the Soviet school.

The article deals with the development of language under the influence of global trends in the world. A brief comparative analysis of the concepts of «hermeneutics», «linguistics», and «philosophy of language» is carried out. The paper emphasizes the features of language development in the context of globalization, factors that affect the dynamics of the language and the formation of the «world language» are noted.

The article is devoted to the philosophical understanding of the Sansara cycle. The authors do not just talk about the oldest world religion - Buddhism and study the "Wheel of Sansara" - a phenomenon that represents an endless cycle of soul rebirths, but also affect eternal problems. For example, the problems of reincarnation, life after death, being, and many others. All these problems are directly related to the Wheel of Samsara. Therefore, the authors study and describe the origin of the Wheel of Sansara, its classical and iconographic images, consider all twelve plots of the circle and the symbolism of each of them. Drawing conclusions, the authors show their views on the Wheel of Sansara and the path of Enlightenment.

The article considers the essence and content of the concept of "religious traditionalism" from the point of view of modern social philosophy. The work focuses on the need of mainstreaming this kind of researches and perspectives of study of this sector for the socially oriented sciences.

Summary: The work shows that in the modern domestic liberal historiography of Russian emigration, there is a tendency to conceal and hide political problems raised by Russian monarchists. And, on the contrary, in the works of representatives of the patriotic direction, a wide range of views of Russian monarchists, centered around the Masonic problem and the struggle against Bolshevism, are being explored. The system of estimations by Russian right-wing representatives of the «philosophical steamer» as «apologists of Freemasonry» and the bearers of the ideas of «Masonic democracy» and also as «reformers of Orthodoxy» was reconstructed. The specifics of the struggle of Russian patriotic circles of white emigration with the Russian Masonic lodges restored abroad are shown. The anti-Masonic activities of the Russian Church abroad are considered. As the highest achievement of anti-Masonic publicism is considered the religious and political philosophy of the history of Russian monarchists. The author believe that the main historiographic criterion for distinguishing the political activity of Russian emigration should be recognized as its pro-Masonic or anti-Masonic orientation. As a result of the research, the author come to the conclusion that the anti-Masonic activities of the Russian right largely objectively reflected the main contradiction of the Russian history of «post-October abroad» as the struggle of Russian patriotic monarchists and the Orthodox Church abroad with the Russophobic forces of the West, whose concentrated expression was Freemasonry.

The article is devoted to the philosophical thought of Ancient East and particular characteristics of Eastern philosophizing. It is developing in two similar and meanwhile different traditions – Chinese and Indian. The work reveals main distinctive features in the system of philosophical and pre-philosophical thought of India and China. Special attention is given to the world view and understanding the role of a human being both in space and society. The researchers identify and justify common elements of Eastern philosophizing that help to detach it from the Western one. They also provide the main features of famous treatises constituting an integral part of understanding this topic.

The article describes the women’ characters in Turgenev’s novels, discovers that there is the character of “demonical woman”, which is used in the novels often enough, besides the character of “Turgenev’s young lady”, representing his novels. According to the author the character of “demonical woman” is associated with author’s philosophic point of view about nature and with his love concept, this character is found in the novels, representing love as a fateful power which brings under control freedom. These women’ characteristic features are power and strong personality. The author considers that the character of “demonical woman” is created by Turgenev in real and unreal manners.
