Absract: This article considers the design features of drilling rigs intended for drilling vertical and inclined boreholes. Three-bearing and four-bearing drilling rigs are presented, as well as their construction, installation and transportation. The main parameters characterizing the drilling rigs, as well as the operational requirements to them, are described.

The article deals with the main components of the model of the process of designing the didactic space of the teacher with the help of in-house training of the teaching staff of the school. Criteria and indicators of efficiency of the offered model are defined. The article examines the program for modeling relatively simple three-dimensional objects Google SketchUp, as a program that develops the creative abilities of students of grades 1-11 in the classroom "Introduction to 3-D modeling" in the summer as an out-of-school education. This work fits into a framework of a program, elucidated in [1–3], of the geometrization of physics, as set in motion by the mathematical works of William Kingdon Clifford and continued into Einstein’s theory of General Relativity as well as the theories of John Archibald Wheeler. It discusses the physical and mathematical foundations of vacuum light-geometry and the Algebra of Signatures. The vacuum is investigated by probing it with mutually perpendicular monochromatic rays of light with different wavelengths. The result is a hierarchy of nested 3-D light landscapes («λmn-vacua»). We consider a locally uncurved and curved state of a vacuum region on the basis of the mathematical theory known as the Algebra of Signatures. A «vacuum condition» is formulated, based on the definition of the «vacuum balance». Inert properties of the λmn-vacuum are considered. A kinematic basis for the possibility of discontinuities in a local neighborhood of a λmn-vacuum is introduced. On the basis of the foundations of the Algebra of Signatures described in [2; 3], metric-dynamic models of all elementary particles included in the Standard Model are obtained. In this paper new concepts are introduced, some of them with correspondingly new terminology. Therefore, at the end of the article a glossary of new terms is provided.

This article briefly considered the problem of healthy food, culture of food and influence of design as a culture on the positive perception of useful products. The comparative analysis of the American fast food and the Japanese sushi (the most common forms of fast food in our country) are carried out for identification of design means at the expense of which the attractive image of food is formed and the visual harmony is reached. Several versions of the approved design decisions for achievement of desirable taste perception are also offered.

This article analyzes the theoretical prerequisites for the formation of communicative competences for the 8th and 9th grade students of the main school in the implementation of State educational standard of a basic general education. These competences are formed in the process of psychological and pedagogical support of the design and research activities of students.
