Мероприятие проходило с целью погрузить детей в атмосферу театра и стимулировать их речевую активность через театральную деятельность, развивая при этом воображение, память, внимание, логическое мышление, творческие и сценические способности школьников, умение делать выводы, строить умозаключения, выражать их в речи, опираясь на речевой опыт, как на родном, так и на иностранном языке, создать положительную установку для дальнейшего изучения иностранного языка, воспитывать интерес к участию в интеллектуальной и творческой деятельности, пробудить интерес к жизни и культуре других стран. Театрализация способствует лучшему запоминанию и усвоению различных грамматических явлений, расширению лексического запаса, развитию навыков диалогической и монологической речи.
