The principles of compiling a frequency list of plant names are described, a classification of floristic vocabulary is given, and the lexical and semantic subgroup ‘trees’ is analyzed in detail. The specific features of the poet’s individual vision of floristic vocabulary are revealed, taking into account the author’s imagery explicating plant nominations in the literary text.
