The article deals with the specifics of intercultural communication in the context of globalization, analyzes current problems in this sphere and their solutions, as well as examines the connection between intercultural communication and multicultural education.

This article focuses on the current problems of higher education - training of future teachers. The author highlights the issues associated with the identification of the essential characteristics of communicative competence, the role in the system of post-graduate training of the teaching staff. A special place is given to consider the possibilities of educational discipline "Interaction of educational process subjects" in the formation of communicative competence among young scientists at the stage of post-graduate education.

In the course of the structural changes of university libraries belonging to leading German-speaking countries based on information and communication technology, library practices were involved in the processes of informatization, virtualization, globalization and commercialization. The future of university libraries, the German-speaking space depends on their ability to become service agencies able to work with their users and competent to provide the necessary information. Analysis of the German-speaking libraries experience on implementing new digital technologies can cause professional interest and be useful for Russian librarianship specialists.

For the insurant the insurer's value lies not only in the property interest of the latter. It is important to convert the property interest into the insurance interest, and in this case the insurer should surplus funds to cover it. The aim of the study is to examine the russian insurants communications. Based on the official analytical data of CJSC Media-Information Group "Strakhovanie segodnya" (MIG), the Research Group ZIRCON, the author analyzed the change of opinions concerning the insurance marketing communications development.

Having acquired the basic knowledge of the Russian language in the pre-entry courses and having started the first year at the university, foreign students face certain linguistic difficulties while studying professional foreign language. First year students should master three forms of academic speech style: an oral report on the professionally-oriented topic; an oral type of the academic speech i.e. a lecture, and a written form of the academic speech – authentic textbooks reading. The developed technology of professional language training promotes the performance of foreign students; teaches to characterize and describe the objects; provide strong argumentation of their choice; allows to understand how to use the language successfully as a means of obtaining professionally valuable information.

Different organizations are under the conditions of migration. The problems with supplying them with access to people by means of communication services is observed in this article. For this purpose, we demonstrate the use of existing services, which were verified by comparative analysis of the possibilities offered by the mobile operators and conducting the survey in small groups. The author was an active member of multicultural events that took place there in 50–70 years of the XX century. Introduced material can be considered as the primary source, produced by the method of participant observation and analytical generalization. New media can be used as an effective tool for the opening of a new platform for public diplomacy. This fact attracts the attention of Chinese politicians and scholars.
