The article reviews the purpose and tasks of satellite monitoring of railway transport, reveals the development of global satellite navigation systems of the US, Russia, EU and China – space and user segments; of ground telecommunications satellite systems – control segments of GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and Beidou; domestic developments in satellite technology. This article deals with the application of information and communication technologies (ICT) tools while teaching the bachelors of economy in the study of mathematics in high school. For example, a dynamic geometry system (DGS) GeoGebra illustrates the feasibility of computer tools in solving the problems of the section "Analytic geometry in the plane." The author shows the classification of the software used in mathematics education.

The article considers the problem of the effectiveness of horizontal communication on the state and municipal service. Approaches to determine the effectiveness of communication process, types of horizontal communication, as well as the characteristic features of the barriers and interagency cooperation are described.
