The description is based on the identification of the nationally determined features of the Chinese language personality, which allows to model the optimal ways of teaching the Russian language to the Chinese contingent of the level A1–A2.

The article considers the main components of a specialized online course «Electronic Literature: language and digital culture education practice» and its introduction into the educational process within the framework of the educational program for undergraduates who major in Pedagogical Education at Novosibirsk State Technical University. This interdisciplinary resource is relevant for teaching foreign languages ​​and literature, it plays an important role in improving the level of linguistic and cultural competence.

In this article the author shares pedagogical experience of formation discursive competence of students of the faculty "Management" during the sequential action of two corresponding federal state educational standards of bachelor level, which resulted in problems of scientific research. On a theoretical level, it provides a comparative analysis of the scientific literature and regulations dealing with the formation of discursive competence of students-managers. At the empirical level, it used methods of observation and generalization of pedagogical experience. Education in the era of global interconnectedness requires being fluent not only in one but several languages. This article questions the phenomenal aspect of modern education for multilingual youth by teaching them foreign languages. University teachers who provide language support should have intercultural training and qualifications in foreign language acquisition that is aligned with the approaches implemented in practice. Alongside it is believed that all teachers require training to teach students without the language of instruction and to be able to value diversity by incorporating cultural diversity within their teaching. «Methods which are used at English lessons in teaching talented and gifted children»

According to the authors one of the main areas of general education is the development of talented children. A gifted child is an ordinary child, and he does not always fit the requirements of the standard educational system. For solving some of the issues required consequent consideration of particular problems: first, what is a «genius»; second, what are the main characteristics of maturity criteria and methods for their detection; third, how is giftedness manifested and formed in English classes. The article presents the methods of work with gifted children in a foreign language class at school, with special attention to the conditions for successful development of students. It includes the responsibilities that teachers of the gifted and talented have in teaching the English language. Strategies for teaching the language in a natural and flowing way to increase intake and usage are also presented.
