The article considers practical aspects of the demonstration of accentuated personality traits in athletes (on the basis of the Republican Medical Sports Dispensary). In addition, the study devoted to the analysis of the difference in the demonstrations of accentuated traits among athletes engaged in contact and non-contact sports. The sample was made up of athletes residing in the territory of the Republic of Buryatia in quantity of 31 people, aged 19 to 28 years. All participants in the sample have sports ranks: Candidate Master of Sports (24 people) and Master of Sports (7 people). Athletes were divided into two groups, according to their sport specialization. Tthe group of contact sports included athletes engaged in martial arts (boxing, wrestling, karate). In this article the problem of radioactive effect of radon on the population of the Lower Volga region is considered. The studies made it possible to calculate the averaged annual effective equivalent doses to the population of the Lower Volga region, caused by radon and daughter products of decay. Methods for reducing radon exhalation using different types of finishing materials are proposed.

The article presents the results of a complex study of the introduction of vitamin and microelement complexes with the pharmacological adaptogen on the immunological resistance of the young people. There is a more pronounced increase in the functional capacity of the organism under the influence of vitamin and microelement additives to food, especially in combination with the pharmacologically adaptogen, due to the positive effect of these complexes on the intensity of the exchange of trace elements, mainly iron, on hematopoiesis and immunological reactivity of the organism.

The aim of the study is to compare health literacy rates among sedentary workers with different physical activity levels. To achieve this goal the as a method of measuring of health literacy indicators. The results showed that sedentary workers with sufficient physical activity have higher scores on the "General health literacy", "Health care" and "Health promotion" scales, compared to sedentary workers with insufficient physical activity.
