The article is devoted to problems of distribution of early, middle and late Sarmatian cultures in the basin of the river Esaulovsky Aksay. At the beginning of each of the three periods in the region gradual penetration of other cultural traditions is observed, which gradually displace the previous ones. Such periods are distinguished by the presence of funeral complexes of a syncretic character, in which simultaneously new and old features coexist.

The paper focuses on the development of the social-realistic tradition in the culture of the early 1960s. Special attention is paid to the first full-length feature Gennady Shpalikov’s screenplay «Berth», which is an example of the development and the change of social-realistic «tropes» in the screenwriting of «Ottepel / the Thaw»: «a positive hero», «big family» and «war». The author concludes that these fundamental «tropes» define all Shpalikov’s work, the screenwriting and the poetry.

This article introduces Thematic Photobooks system as a mean of special children's' development. According to the ideas of L.S. Vygotsky and Activity Theory by A. Leontiev and S. Rubinstein, the development of a child’s intellectual activity highly depends on the presence of mediating agents in children’s interaction with the environment and highlights the presence of a social medium for children’s development. The process of creating Thematic Рhotobooks about a child and his/her life as a creative collaboration of an adult and a child serves as a mediating agent between a child and his surrounding. The benefits from photography and photo stories for the child's development is described. Creating Photobooks is a goal and a process at the same time. It helps a child to develop important life skills and acquiring knowledge. The structure, application and advantages of this system are presented along with a real life example of a special child as a case study.

The article deals with some literary translation features to analyze adequacy of the translator’s solution. The object of this research is the epigraph of the English novel «Flowers for Agernon» by D. Keyes. Logical descriptive, analytical descriptive and comparative methods as well as methods of analysis and synthesis enabled us to systematize the corresponding theory and to analyze the translator’s solution concerning the strong position rendering, i.e. the epigraph of the novel rendering. The article results might be of great help for courses on linguistics, intercultural communication, text linguistics and theory of translation.

The paper presents the dynamic model of the machine assembly with a recommended mechanism for moving material and the definition of the law of rails motion under various system parameters. The author has suggested the solution implemented by the system of differential equations numerically on the PC and the system describing the motion of the machine set. Recommended values ​​of the parameters of elastic links of material transfer mechanism have been obtained. The researcher has developed the methods of kinematic and dynamic analysis of the material transfer mechanism with elastic elements of the sewing machine and has approved the parameters and development of the design.

The article discusses the concept and types of anxiety, the characteristics of student age, describes the experience of diagnosis and psychotherapy of students’ anxiety during the examination session by the scientific student laboratory. The work consists of 3 stages: 1) ascertaining stage – the aim is to analyze the level of students’ anxiety; 2) psycho-corrective stage – the aim is to optimize and reduce the level of anxiety of students in the examination period; 3) controlling stage – the aim is to analyze the influence of the method of desensitization and reprocessing trauma by eye movements (EMDR) on the level of students’ anxiety.

The article is devoted to the study of the emergence of the concept of «symbol» in Russian culture of the XVIII century. The study aims to look into the reasons why the derivative word may be the reflection of underlying grammatical case meanings.

The study of a social support for posttraumatic growth facilitation is described in the article. The strong correlation between posttraumatic growth and the basic assumption about just world is revealed. Stress and depression reduction is correlated with the basic assumption about a benevolent world. The evidence that the basic assumptions after trauma are affected by the social support qualities is reviewed. Based on qualitative interview data acute adaptation, adaptation, institutional and post-institutional long-term posttraumatic periods of time are pointed out. Supportive interactions for posttraumatic growth facilitation over the long-term posttraumatic periods of time were identified.

The article presents data on the study of the cohesion of 115 students from the faculty of dentistry at Burdenko Voronezh State Medical University. The study revealed that students have high and medium favorable psychological climate. 99 of them have the average level of group cohesion, and 16 revealed a low level of this indicator. To improve the educational process and interpersonal relations, these results must be taken into account when forming groups.

The article provides the kinematics chart of mechanism of material movement of sewing machine and determination of law of lath motion at the different parameters of the system and its equalization. It also determins concrete values of linear speed of point Е of lever – laths at moving of material in sewing machines. A mechanism is worked out with the storage of energy as a conical spring, that operates at the horizontal moving of lath and a mechanism is executed as the reserved kinematics chain.

The author has calculated and compared the energy losses of these systems with various types of loads and this lets us to evaluate work processes of many technical devices.

According to the author, changes in higher education are focused on the implementation of the concept of entrepreneurial university. This concept involves the changes of the basic approaches to both the organization of internal activities of higher education institutions and to interaction with other actors (the state, regional authorities, business, foreign partners). The obtained models provide the opportunity to use the data in studying the recycling process of the mixture of bentonite clay and silted slurry.

The article presents the results of studying the influence of various schemes of planting seed tubers of Jerusalem artichoke on the rate of plant growth and development in the soil and climatic conditions of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. Differences in the rate of growth and development of plants are revealed, depending on the varietal features of Jerusalem artichoke and the density of their standing. The most optimal scheme for planting tubers of Jerusalem artichoke is 70x40 cm.
