This article deals with activity optimization process, illustrated by the example of the Severodvinsk Child Health Centre №1. It is reported that the medical record department's effectiveness can increase by creating an automized information system with an additional call registration module.

In the beginning of the XX century European school-teaching practice needs radical changes, the traditional school of study has been heavily criticized, needed reforms. Philosophy of education of that time provided in this article by the creative work of prominent reformers – humanists had actual implementation in teaching practice in the form of school coomunity of John Dewey and Summerhill-school of Alexander Neill.

The article covers an approach to modelling of the cyclic macroeconomic dynamics, which allows to increase the accuracy of approximation of the real data in order to further forecasting of the medium-term changes in volume of gross domestic product. This approach allows to determine more accurately the turning points of cycles and to fix the changes in the amplitude and duration of the separate cycle waves. The article also covers the comparative analysis of the constructed model and the «simple-sine» model generally used at practical researches.

Author defines the need for using modern information technologies in the educational process of the higher school as stimulators for students' self-realization. Author haves found attributive signs and modalities of students' self-realization and described the related functions of information technologies – actual and potential. The article deals with the problem of the lack of media education of citizens and the need to introduce such a course in schools and universities in the conditions of the modern information warfare, which goal is the impact on mass consciousness with a view to its submission and enslavement in certain geopolitical goals. The author rightly raises the question of the means of protection against the manipulation with consciousness to be possessed by citizens, but since the technology of manipulation of consciousness is used by all the media and politicians, the question arises: is this profitable for the government to train its own citizens to counteract the manipulation.

The article substantiates the use of floating point numbers in digital devices design. The paper describes this representation of numbers. The urgency of the use of this presentation is due to the fact that in modern computing systems occur computational operations over a very large and very small numbers. Since there is a need in the presentation and conducting operations on a finite set of zeros and ones, as a compromise between speed, size and accuracy of representations, scientists have proposed to use the format of floating point numbers.
