The experience of setting up and executing applied research to create a through technology for the production of functional food products for the population of the northern regions of Russia was reviewed.

A multifunctional forest machine in some technological operations (in the harvesting machine, forwarder mode) must provide a cyclic operation, other operations (soil cultivation, fire prevention) - continuous operation.
