The authors of this article have investigated a modern value of essence and specifics of foreign policy in activity of the state. The paper analyzes the factor of national interests in foreign policy.

The article deals with the practice-oriented approach during the teaching of Russian students of technical university. Relevance of the practice oriented approach in training of students of the technical higher education institution is proved in the article, the essence of this approach is defined. The possibilities of the educational process to realize the practice oriented approach are presented. The author focuses on the organization of practice for student which provides interrelation of theoretical and practical training of future professional staff; presents the statements which must be taken into consideration when determining the content of practical foreign lessons. The types of practical tasks are considered which are beneficial in realization of the practice oriented approach.

The article considers the possibilities of the organization of students training at technical university via the dialogue teaching. The author focuses on the analysis of many instances of using dialogue technology in the system of modern education and makes a conclusion that the dialogue technology contains enormous potential in its educational application at university. It requires further investigation, software design and methodological support.

In pre-revolutionary, Soviet and modern Russian historiography the problem of evaluation of «foreign» influence in various periods in the development of Russia is more than actual, and thoroughly represented. The author notes that in this period, one of the areas of such influence was the activities of foreign («foreign») both military and civilian professionals of various profile and level, invited to the Russian service at the end of the XVII–XVIII centuries. In his article, the author, based on the study of new archival and other sources, attempts to evaluate the «pros» and «cons» of foreign influence, primarily on the development of the Russian state military science and military schools, as well as to strengthen the defense of the state during the first quarter of the XVIII century. In addition, for the first time the article introduces some archival sources into scientific circulation.

The author considers, that the Central activities of the Bolsheviks study convincingly leads to the conclusion that the banner of United Russia was raised by Stalin to solve the specific geopolitical problems of the new Russia-related foreign intervention and Civil war, as well as awareness of the separatist processes disutility for the stable new Russian statehood development.

The article provides the analyses of modern active learning methods that activate and accelerate the acquisition of foreign language communicative competence, adaptation to foreign language environment. Namely, active methods – communicative and competence, whose components are «brainstorming», «mind maps», «needs analysis», synectic method, role-plays are the elements of critical thinking. These methods are the most effective and meet the requirements of a modern business man. Using a comparative law method this article describes the similarities and differences in the obligations as a result of the injury in the Russian Federation and other countries of continental legal family, characterizes the responsibility for harm caused by deficiencies of goods, jobs and services under the laws of the countries in the Anglo-Saxon legal family. The work also suggests the ways to improve the legislation.

The article analyzes the main trends in the development of integration processes between the countries participating EEU. The analysis of bilateral trade is made on the basis of studying the dynamics of the growth rate of exports and imports, the foreign trade turnover and commodity structure of export-import operations between the countries of the EEU. The article identifies the most promising and priority areas for integration, the main pros and cons of the integration. The paper explores the dependence of member countries on the foreign trade.

The article is devoted to the problem of forming political competence of a senior pupil as a component of an individual’s civil competence.
