The article presents the analysis of trends in the research of emotions and phenomena associated with emotional manifestations. The article defines the role of emotions and their importance in professional activities, the relevance of the study of emotional components in the diagnosis of professional suitability, competence. The set of the emotional profile diagnostics methods taking into account levels of emotional manifestation is defined. Significant differences in the emotional profile of students of the acting department in comparison with representatives of the technical orientation are revealed. The problem of development, formation of emotional competence, namely understanding and demonstration of emotional behavior depending on the orientation, specialization in training is put forward.

Despite the existing disagreements in the professional environment about the validity of the very concept of «Internet addiction», every year there was several studies in the field of neurobiology, psychology, clinical psychiatry, proving that Internet addiction is a particular variant of behavioral addictive disorders. In the recent years, Internet addiction has gained special significance in a number of Asian countries (China, South Korea), where this type of pathology is becoming a national problem among young people.

Research aim – to identify the competences of physical education teachers for the sports injuries prevention. Using the questionnaire survey we investigated that physical education teachers pay attention to the warm-up and correct exercise in the physical education lesson. Students are rarely injured in the lessons of these physical education teachers. The research showed that competencies of surveyed physical education teachers are high.
