The article is devoted to some aspects of the technology project activities through the integration of music with other arts and traditional folk culture. In this article, the author emphasizes the importance of the use of score-rating system (BSR) to evaluate the achievements of students, due to the need to improve the efficiency of the educational process. The author investigates the problems that higher musical education has to face while it is adapting to the reforms introduced by the Bologna process. Technology methods are considered as variants of methodical work with gifted children. A number of criteria for gifted children is listed, their ability to think critically is separately discussed.
